When you own one of the nearly 7,000 Lagoon catamarans delivered worldwide since 1984, you're part of a legacy built on innovation,
comfort, and seaworthiness. But here's what many Lagoon owners discover:
the trampoline nets that come on the boat from the factory
leave some things to be desired.
At Sunrise Yacht Products we address this specific issue by offering trampoline net upgrades for Lagoon
catamarans that offer dramatically improved durability/safety (12+ years vs 3-5 years which is why we can offer the
World’s Best Netting Warranty, greatly improved comfort (net can be barefoot friendly!),
increased stability, and improved aesthetics.
Over four decades of production, Lagoon has implemented five distinct design generations, countless production variations, and evolving attachment
systems that make net selection more complex than most realize.
At Sunrise Yacht Products, we've designed & manufactured netting upgrades for over 900 Lagoon catamarans—from the original Lagoon 55 to the latest
Lagoon 42. This experience has taught us that choosing the right net requires understanding your specific model's unique requirements, production
variations, and intended use patterns. The guide below is a quick review of what to consider for Lagoon catamarans in general and then specifically
what you should take into account for each particular model.

Essential Factors in Lagoon Net Selection
What type of net is included from the factory?
Historically, Lagoon has been consistent in supplying their boats with a 30mm highly open nylon or polyester net from the factory. While
these nets serve their purpose day 1, they leave a lot to be desired in comfort (you do NOT want to walk on these barefoot),
durability/safety (they can often
fail catastrophically
within 3-6 years), & aesthetics (the white nets can easily look
dirty & are hard to see through). Because these nets are manufactured slightly too large so as to fully fill the opening
(see Figure 2) they also do not have room for tensioning and thus end up sagging more over their life.
Lagoon Attachment Styles
Lagoon has generally used (4) attachment styles. Lacing Slides in Lacing Track (very early models only), Lacing Buttons (starting ~2000),
Stainless Ustraps (starting ~2010), & UnderMounted Eyes (starting ~2018). To make things a bit more fun, there were a number of models that
used both the Lacing Button & Ustraps across their production run.

Figure 1: Example pic of Lacing Buttons & Fixed Corner Padeye (Shown on Lagoon 410 with Sunrise Net).

Figure 2: Example pic of Ustraps and Corner Padeyes (shown on Lagoon 450 with OEM nets).

Figure 3: Example pic of newer version Ustraps (Shown on Lagoon 400 with Sunrise Nets).

Figure 4: Example of UnderMounted Eyes (shown anchor cutout on Lagoon 46 with OEM nets).
To make things just a bit MORE fun, across many of their models Lagoon did not maintain the same attachment point pattern or exact opening size.
This means that for something like the Lagoon 380, we have over 25 different patterns.

Figure 5: Overlay of just 5 of our 35 Lagoon 380 drawings showing variation in lacing point style, count, & spacing. Note, the net is designed for boat with lacing buttons and would not fit a boat with Ustraps at all.
It is NOT POSSIBLE to make a single net that fits all of these properly which means that companies that offer this are making a
one-size-fits-all net solution that will have gaps that are too large on some boats and too small on others. Lagoon did start getting
more consistent over time depending on the model. We have tracked the drawings for all models and note in the following article which
models are consistent & which need a drawing.
Material Options: How We Can Improve On OEM Netting
A brief description of our top netting options, for a more in depth look at netting check out our
Netting White Paper
Ideal Netting for Cruising Catamarans: For the great majority of cruisers, our
3/8” Offshore netting
is the optimal choice. It is highly durable (12+ years due to our proprietary UV coating), much more comfortable than OEM (barefoot
& pet friendly), easier to see through (if you select a dark color) and overall improves the safety, stability, & comfort on your boat
resulting in substantially improved living space.
For Budget-Oriented Cruisers: For those that don’t need extra living space on their boat or who are very budget oriented,
our 1-1/4” Ultra-Pro Netting
offers OEM level pricing but with dramatically improved durability and improved safety & Stability. Available in any color (select a dark color
to be easier to see through).
For Charter Operations and Protected Water Use: Our
Square Hole Mesh
is a budget friendly, durable, comfortable material. It is less open than we would commonly recommend for bluewater use although many boats
do use it on that. It is quite popular for upgrades for Caribbean chartered boats or mild commercial use.
For Performance Applications:
Dyneema mesh
offers maximum strength-to-weight ratios for racing applications, though at premium pricing. It is the most stable
netting platform you can buy, but is not barefoot friendly and I generally advise cruisers to consider 3/8” Offshore above Dyneema.
For Commercial Day Charters: Our line of
Webbing Nets
is the ultimate commercial trampoline material with incredible durability & stability that is unmatched by anything else. While Dyneema
can be used for Commercial Day Charters, webbing nets are absolutely the best way to go so you can focus on your business while your customers
enjoy your nets.
Making the Lagoon Front of Boat a Living Space
When you upgrade your trampoline net to be barefoot friendly, you’ll find that you suddenly want to spend a lot more time up there. With our
SHADE &
Sailor’s Pillow you can transform the front of your boat and double
your outdoor living space!

Model-Specific Selection Guide
The following section breaks down the basics you need to be aware of when considering purchase of a net for each particular model
as well as whether a drawing will be required for that particular model. All Lagoons have moveable lacing slides in the forward
crossbeam unless otherwise noted.
Early Generation Models (1984-1996)
Lagoon 37 TPI (1991 – 1998) – Production: 41 boats
Built through US partnership between Jeanneau and TPI Composites in Rhode Island. Early boats (43 units) manufactured in USA, final
8 units built in France. Used extensively in charter fleets as "Moorings 3700."
(Multihulls World) There
is some variation in these and a drawing check is required. They have moveable lacing slides in lacing track on all sides.
- 1 Piece Net Click To See Our Lagoon 37 TPI Nets
- Some have fixed lacing points & some have moveable slides
- Total Square Footage: 55 sqft / 5.11 sqm
- Due to variations, drawing is required (we have 3 different drawings)
Lagoon 42 TPI (1990-1994) – Production: 51 Units
Built by TPI (Tillotson Pearson) in Rhode Island using state-of-the-art resin infusion process with vinyl ester resin and balsa core
construction. Won Sailing World Boat of the Year Overall in 1991. Should not be confused with the later Lagoon 420 (2006-2016) or the
current Lagoon 42 (2017-present). Known for excellent build quality and blue water cruising capability. There were dimensional variations
of several inches between boats, all variants have lacing slide tracks with moveable lacing slides all sides.
- 2 Piece Net Click To See Our Lagoon 42 TPI Nets
- Some have fixed lacing points & some have moveable slides
- Total Square Footage: 118 sqft / 10.96 sqm
- Due to variations, drawing is required (we have 3 different drawings)
Lagoon 55 (1987-1991) - Production: ~20 units
Built by TPI (Tillotson Pearson) in Rhode Island using state-of-the-art resin infusion process with vinyl ester resin and balsa core
construction. Won Sailing World Boat of the Year Overall in 1991. Should not be confused with the later Lagoon 420 (2006-2016) or the
current Lagoon 42 (2017-present). Known for excellent build quality and blue water cruising capability. There were dimensional variations
of several inches between boats, all variants have lacing slide tracks with moveable lacing slides all sides.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 55 Nets
- Some have fixed lacing points & some have moveable slides
- Total Square Footage: 174 sqft / 16.1sqm
- Due to numerous variations, drawing is required (we have 5 different drawings)
Lagoon 57 (1992-1998) - Production: ~13 units
Performance-oriented design with larger platform area than the 55. Being an earlier Lagoon, it did have some design variability in sizing
but everything we’ve seen had lacing slides on all sides making it slightly easier to design. This model has quite large nets and you must
consider openness when choosing a net.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 57 Nets
- All have moveable slides all sides
- Total Square Footage: 202 sqft / 18.7 sqm
- Due to dimensional variations of about 2.5” / 70mm, drawing is required (we have 5 different drawings)
Lagoon 47 (1992-1998) - Production: ~25 units
Transitional model bridging performance and cruising philosophies. We have seen significant variances in overall dimensions although Lagoon
did appear to maintain the design to consistently have moveable lacing slides on all sides.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 47 Nets
- All have moveable slides all sides
- Total Square Footage: 112 sqft / 10.4 sqm
- Due to dimensional variations of about 3” / 78mm, drawing is required (we have 5 different drawings)
Second Generation: The Comfort Revolution (1997-2005)
Lagoon 380 (1999-2019) - Production: ~1,000 units
The best-selling cruising catamaran ever built, with many variations over the years and is a prime example of why drawing checks
are vital. We have over 20 drawings on file for the 380 covering both the original & S2 variant (there was no trampoline difference
between the two). The biggest difference is that earlier models used lacing buttons and later models used Ustraps. Further variations
are that these were not consistently located with multiple variations on lacing point spacing for each lacing point style.
Critical consideration: Button systems vs. U-strap configurations require different net designs. The most efficient
way to do the measurement check is for you to send a picture of the boat opening including all lacing points so we can select the drawing
that most closely matches your boat.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 380 Nets
- Lacing buttons OR Ustraps 3 sides. (4) fixed padeyes for corner tensioning.
- Total Square Footage: 112 sqft / 10.4 sqm
- Due to dimensional variation, lacing point style variations, & lacing point location variations, drawing is required
(we have 25 different drawings on file).
Lagoon 410 (1997-2006) - Production: 283 units
Introduced vertical panoramic windows and larger forward platforms. Standard attachment systems accommodate most net types. The 410
S2 variant (2004-2009) shares the same general trampoline design. Used lacing buttons as attachment points, but variations between
years means that a drawing is required as they changed up the lacing button count & spacing as well as had slight variations in the
bridgedeck curvature. Send a picture of your boat after ordering so we can select the drawing that best matches your boat.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 410 Nets
- Lacing Buttons all sides, 4 fixed padeyes in corners
- Total Square Footage: 114 sqft / 10.59 sqm
- Due to dimensional variations of about 2” / 50mm and variation is lacing button count & spacing, drawing is required (we have 20 different drawings)
Lagoon 35 (1995-1997) - Production: 11 units
This limited production model was unique in being manufactured both in France by CNB and in the US by TPI. Drawing will be required,
this has bolt rope / lacing slide track 3 sides. We’ve only done a few so do not know if there is substantial variation.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 35 Nets
- Lacing slide track with movable slides 3 sides. Sometimes bolt rope on net aft.
- Total Square Footage: 51 sqft / 4.74 sqm
- Drawing check required
Lagoon 470 (1998-2005) - Production: 51 units
Performance-oriented model with limited commercial success. Used lacing slides on all sides. Drawing check required due to substantial
(~4”+) variations in dimensions between boats.
- 2 Piece Nets Click to See Our Lagoon 470 Nets
- Lacing slide track with movable slides 3 sides
- Total Square Footage: 118 sqft / 10.96 sqm
- Drawing check required, we have 9 drawings on file
Lagoon 570 (2000-2008) – Production: 30-40 units
All Lagoon 570s were built by CNB (Construction Navale Bordeaux) with dual aft helm stations. Lower production run model with a fair
bit of variation in dimensions on the net width which appears to be mostly due to varying catwalk widths used on the boat. Has lacing
slide track with movable lacing slides all sides on all variants we’ve seen.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 570 Nets
- Lacing buttons OR Ustraps 3 sides. (4) fixed padeyes for corner tensioning.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 196 sqft / 18.21 sqm
- Drawing required due to varying dimensional variants with variation as high as 6”/150mm. We have 3 drawings on file
Third Generation: Flybridge Integration (2004-2011)
Lagoon 400 (2008-2018) - Production: ~1,000 units
Achieved remarkable commercial success with charter companies worldwide. It appears that Lagoon started using UStraps on this model
as all of them have Ustraps. Lagoon also seems to have started with full standardization with the 400 as we have found them to be
quite consistent.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 400 Nets
- Ustraps, Fixed padeyes (4) corners
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 88 sqft / 8.18 sqm
- No Drawing Required, we commonly have some of these as pre-made stock in standard colors.
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 420 and 421 (2006 – 2016) – Production: 179 Lagoon 420s + 96 Lagoon 421s
The 420 was the world's first production hybrid sailboat although changed to standard twin engine partway through production.
The 420/421 were unique in the Lagoon lineup in using a tension line forward rather than lacing to the fwd crossbeam and had
rather small nets. The 420 had only lacing buttons but had varying lacing point spacing. The 421 was much more consistent &
used Ustraps.
-
2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 420 Nets
Click to See Our Lagoon 421 Nets
- Lacing buttons (420) Ustraps (421). Cable tension line fwd
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 46 sqft / 4.27 sqm
- Drawing required for 420 due to varying dimensional & lacing point variants. 421 does not require a drawing due to improved consistency.
Lagoon 440 (2005-2011) - Production: 423 units
Pioneered flybridge concept on sub-45-foot catamarans, creating complex forward platform geometry. The 440 is similar to
the 380 in having many variants with earlier models using lacing buttons & later models using lacing Ustraps. Dimensional
variation is pretty low, but there is some slight variations between boats.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 440 Nets
- Lacing buttons OR Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 84 sqft / 7.80 sqm
- Drawing is required, send picture of starboard boat opening after ordering so we can select drawing that best matches your boat. We have 14 different drawings on file.
Lagoon 450 (2014-2021) - Production: 850+ units
Available in 450F (flybridge) and 450S (sport) configurations. There is no difference in the trampoline net design between
these two variants. One of the most popular models ever made, Lagoon fully standardized their production and we’ve seen no
substantial changes across the 100s of nets we’ve made for this model.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 450 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 80 sqft / 7.43 sqm
- No Drawing Required, we commonly have some of these as pre-made stock in standard colors.
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 500 (2005-2012) - Production: 150 units
The Lagoon 500 is similar to the 380 & 440 in that they changed from lacing buttons to Ustraps through the production run
and also did not maintain consistent spacing to the lacing points. This means a drawing is necessary to ensure a well-fitted
net to your boat. Ideally, you will send us a picture of your starboard net/attachment points at time of order so we can select
the drawing that best matches your boat.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 500 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 95 sqft / 8.83 sqm
- Drawing is required, we have 11 drawings on file for this model
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 560 (2010-2019) – Production: ESTIMATED 100 units
The 560 is a bit unusual in the Lagoon world with an off-center catwalk making the port & starboard nets slightly different
(the port net is a little bigger). Standard version (2010-2014) and improved S2 version (2014-2019). There was not a notable
difference in the trampoline netting design between these two versions. They all used Ustraps, but they were not consistent
and do require a drawing check as we have 10 different drawings on file for this model.
- 2 Piece Net, unique in not being mirror images Click to See Our Lagoon 560 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 104 sqft / 9.66 sqm
- Drawing is required, we have 10 drawings on file for this model
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 620 (2013-2021) – Production: 169 Units
The 620 is a VPLP design, replaced by the 60 in 2021. It is another unique model having non-symmetrical netting similar
to the 560. For some reason, Lagoon was not consistent in lacing point or boat opening design across this model and there
is a fair bit of variation with lacing point count & spacing varying between boats. Because the nets are not symmetrical
this does mean two drawings need to be checked, one for port & one for starboard. They did use UStraps for the entirety
of this model’s run.
- 2 Piece Net, unique in not being mirror images Click to See Our Lagoon 620 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 140 sqft / 13.0sqm
- Drawing is required, we have 10 drawings on file for this model
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 630 (2014 – 2020) – Production: ESTIMATED 40 units
For netting purposes the Lagoon 630 is the same as the 620, sharing all the same design characteristics and requiring
a drawing check due to variations in lacing point locations & counts.
- 2 Piece Net, unique in not being mirror images Click to See Our Lagoon 630 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 140 sqft / 13.0 sqm
- Drawing is required, we have 10 drawings on file for this model
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Fourth Generation: Mast-Aft Revolution (2012-2016)
The 2012 introduction of aft-positioned masts fundamentally enlarged forward platforms, transforming them into "true forward cockpits".
Lagoon 39 (2013-2017) - Production: ESTIMATED 100 units
Compact design with efficient forward platform layout and a self-tacking jib system. This is well standardized & no drawing checks
are required.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 39 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 69 sqft / 6.4 sqm
- No Drawing Required – We Typically Stock Common Colors
- Recommended Material: 3/8” Offshore
Lagoon 52 (2011-202) - Production: 140 units
Unconventional layout attracted private owners seeking unique configurations. The 55F variant shared the same trampoline net
design. Lagoon made these quite consistently & drawing checks are not required.
- 2 Piece Nets Click to See Our Lagoon 52 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 94 sqft / 9.01 sqm
- No Drawing Required – We Typically Stock Common Colors

Fifth Generation: Modern Integration (2017-Present)
Lagoon 40 (2017-present) – Production: Expected 1,000+
4th generation design with mast positioned aft, 800kg lighter than predecessor Lagoon 39. Very important to note, it appears
that Lagoon changed the design ~2018 with regards to the trampoline net with the newer version having a smaller trampoline net.
We call these the Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 40 V2 for differentiation. They can be differentiated by counting the Ustraps on the
starboard side. If you have the Lagoon 40 there will be 13 Ustraps, if you have the Lagoon 40 V2 there will be 10 Ustraps.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 40 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 89 sqft / 8.27 sqm Lagoon 40, 69 sqft / 6.41 sqm Lagoon 40 V2.
-
Both versions appear quite consistent, although if we have not yet verified you know the difference we
often ask for confirmation to ensure we get the right one for you.
Lagoon 42 (2017-Present) - Production: 1,150+ units
Recent model available in owner and charter versions and the highest production catamaran model in history. Not to be confused
with the (much earlier) Lagoon 42 TPI. Very consistent, no drawings required.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 42 Nets
- Ustraps. Fixed padeyes (4) corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 84 sqft / 7.80 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required, typically stocked in common colors.
Lagoon 43 (2017-Present) - Production: 10+ units
The new Lagoon 43 builds on the success of the 42 with a redesigned hull for more interior space, modular living areas that connect cockpit
and saloon seamlessly, and a semi-flybridge that balances comfort and performance. It’s already proven popular, with dozens sold before launch,
making it one of Lagoon’s most anticipated models.

- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 97 sqft / 9.01 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required, typically stocked in common colors.
Lagoon 46 (2019-Present) - Production: 500+ units
Had a tough act to follow in filling the Lagoon 450’s shoes, but doing a solid job of it. Introduced a few newer
netting related designs for Lagoon by moving to Lacing Eyes mounted underneath the flange so the net edge actually
goes under the plane of the flange. Also, one of the earliest Lagoon models with the forward center anchor cutout in the net.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 46 Nets

- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 87 sqft / 8.08 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required, typically stocked in common colors.
Lagoon 50 (2018 – 2021) – Production: ESTIMATED 300 Units
Available in 3, 4, or 6 cabin configurations. Essential and Comfort equipment packages offered. This Lagoon 50 used the
same design characteristics as the 46 with UnderMounted Eyes & a fwd center anchor cutout in the net.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 50 Nets
- UnderMounted Eyes. Fixed padeyes (2) aft corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 85 sqft / 7.90 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required, typically stocked in common colors.
Lagoon 51 (2021-Present) - Production: 150+ units
The 51 is simply an extended version of the 50. We have not seen any differences between them with regards to netting design.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 51 Nets
- UnderMounted Eyes. Fixed padeyes (2) aft corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 85 sqft / 7.90 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required, typically stocked in common colors.
Lagoon 55 V2 (2019-Present) - Production: 75+ units
Modern interpretation of the original model name. Do not confuse with original 55 which is a 2 piece net. Carries the
design theme of UnderMounted Eyes & Anchor cutout fwd. Also has a unique slight net cutout aft center.
- 1 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon 55 V2 Nets
- UnderMounted Eyes. Fixed padeyes (2) aft corners.
- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 120 sqft / 11.15 sqm
- Very consistent, no drawing check required.
Lagoon 60 (2024-Present) - Production: 25+ units
We have not yet made this one, glad to help you make your Lagoon 60 even nicer!
Lagoon 620 NEO (2024-Present)
So far as we can tell this is the same as the 620, but we will do a drawing check to verify when you order.
Lagoon 38 (Launching March 2025)
Entry-level replacement for the discontinued 39, featuring optimized weight distribution at just 10.2 tonnes. We
haven’t made it yet but do expect it to be well standardized. Contact us to have us make yours!
Lagoon SIXTY5 (2020 - Present) – Production: ESTIMATED 50 Units
An amazing modern luxury line with vacuum infusion construction. Interestingly, we have found these to not be
consistent with variation in lacing point location making drawing required. Note that Port/Starbard are NOT mirror
image on these boats. This is a luxury boat, and 3/8” Offshore netting will make the trampolines match the quality
& comfort of the rest of the boat.
- 2 Piece Net Click to See Our Lagoon SIXTY5

- Total Square Footage of trampoline netting: 120 sqft / 11.15 sqm
- Not Consistent, Drawing Check Required
Lagoon SEVENTY 7 (2016-Present) - Production: 15+ units
The SIXTY5 in gorgeous, but the SEVENTY7 is another level. We’ve done a few of these and our 3/8” Offshore brings
the net quality & comfort to the level of matching the rest of the boat. Interestingly, the SEVENTY7 uses Ustraps
on all the boats we’ve seen so far. Port & Starboard are NOT mirror image in order to allow for an off-center anchor.
We have seen variation between boats making a drawing check required.

The Lagoon SIXTY 7, SEVENTY 8 are expected to have the same netting parameters as the SIXTY5 & SEVENTY7 but this
should be verified with drawing checks.
Lagoon Catamaran Specific Tips & Tricks for Drawing Checks
Should your particular boat model require a drawing check, the following points will help you when doing your drawing
checks on your Lagoon Catamaran. For more information see our Drawing Check tips & tricks blog post (link, forthcoming).
-
All measurements are going to be parallel or perpendicular to the boat centerline unless clearly otherwise.
For example, this means that in the drawing below the measurement is from the lacing button to the orange arrow,
not the green arrow (make sure it is perpendicular to the crossbeam in this case).
- Measurements to lacing buttons will be to the center of the lacing buttons.
-
Measurements to UnderMounted Eyes are to the center of the eye (this can typically be easily measured on the top
of the flange as you can see the topside of the hardware).
-
Measurements to lacing track will be to the INSIDE (net side) edge of the lacing track. We will do an offset
to allow for the lacing slide protrusion.
-
Measurements to the forward crossbeam are to the inside (net side) edge of the forward crossbeam. We will offset
to allow for the protrusion of the lacing slides in the forward crossbeam.
-
Measurements to the Ustrap are to the line bearing point on the Ustrap, see below.

Figure 6: Detail on what point to measure to on Ustrap.
Design and Customization Process
The manufacturing of every Lagoon net begins with our having an accurate drawing of the boat’s hard points. We maintain a
catalog of hundreds of drawings as well as tracking model consistency. If your model requires a drawing check we will send
a drawing for you to check to the boat to ensure a great fit. Our net engineers are glad to help walk you through selecting
the optimal material for your particular usage, budget, & desires or you can order direct through our website if you tried
our nets on a friend’s boat and know exactly what you want.
Professional Pattern Development
We maintain templates for popular models while custom-developing patterns for unique installations. Production variations within
model lines may require individual assessment rather than generic patterns (see our notes for your particular model on this page).
Quality Materials & Design Process
While our drawing database & service are best-in-class, we are best known for our quality & durability. This starts with quality
materials being put together in a proven design and completes with the craftmanship from the most experienced tensioned netting
team in the world.
Installation Support
Detailed instructions and hardware kits ensure proper tensioning and attachment are included with every order and are backed up with
support from our net engineers by phone or email. Our installation team can also help do the install ourselves if you want to cover
the travel expenses.
