We’ve been making tensioned nets for the finest Catamarans & Trimarans for almost 30 years and for the finest resorts for 15 years and believe that now it’s time to make the experience available for those without the time or location to build a custom opening into their docks. Our CataLounge lets you experience the unparalleled comfort of relaxing on a breathable net and our years of perfecting the design for durability allows us to make something that will look great in your backyard for many years – even in the bright sun.

Imagine a platform that can function as a bed or reading platform that is large enough for you to sprawl on in any position…no need to lie only on your back with your hands at your sides like on a chaise lounge. And if you have a special someone you want to relax and watch the stars with at night there’s plenty of room to do so – whether side by side or cuddling. With the breathable netting we’ve perfected on catamarans your back stays cool as you lay on it, even on a hot day and there’s nothing to worry about if it gets wet, hit the net a few times and the water jumps off. While it is easy to see these poolside, they’re fantastic for rolling into the shade for a mid-day siesta too…in fact, we’ve found ourselves using these just as often in the shade on a beautiful day as they’ve been used poolside.

If you like the idea of relaxing in the outdoors in your private sanctuary there is nothing else like this. But we didn’t stop at functionality because we believe for this to be a useful part of your home that it needs to look great too – so we’ve designed these in a variety of color options to allow for your personality to shine through. And we can build these custom to order if one of our standard color schemes doesn’t quite match your desires.

We currently offer two standard sizes, The Florida Queen (pictured) which works well for two people, & the Super King for those that want a nearly limitless space on which to enjoy the outdoors.

Specifications

• Size (outside dimensions of frame): Florida Queen 8’4” long x 5’4” wide; Super King 9’4” long x 6’10” wide.
  
  
• Frame: 6061 Aluminum, Fully Welded at our manufacturing facility.
  
  
• Coating: Powdercoated with multiple coats including a UV clearcoat.
  
  
• Hardware: 316 Stainless Eyestraps.
  
  
• Lacing Line: 4mm & 2mm Dyneema (4mm for lacing the sides, 2mm in multiple wraps for the corners).
  
  
• Net Material: Coated Polyester Mesh, base knitted polyester coated with our proprietary UV resistant flexible coating for our legendary durability. We are expecting a useful life of 7-10 years in the outdoors (this is what we typically see for functional life of this material on trimarans in the tropics). This is sewn with our standard UV inert PTFE thread & has marine grade nickel plated marine brass grommets.
